True Barware for Target


The Challenge

Quick Turnaround

When working in the Consumer Packaged Goods space, opportunities sometimes appear with little notice, and when Target gives you the opportunity to pitch a line of barware essentials, you take it. For this project I was given a week to move 13 products from different house brands (Viski and Host) into True. Most of these products needed to keep the same dieline, but some required alteration. All of the products needed to conform to the True brand, and to exist as a digital mockup, as well as a physical prototype.
The Solution

Stay Organized, Stay Focused

To get this project done quickly, I grouped similar packaging styles such as boxes, hanging cards, and bellybands. This allowed for a smooth workflow and efficient construction. Most of the branding elements for True are consistent across similar sized packaging, designed to maintain a consistent appearance around the logo. Two of these products, the cocktail straws and the ice spheres, needed new dielines to accommodate a lower product count.
